Virtually There Consulting is a woman-owned virtual agency helping clients take their social, web, and communications up a notch.

The Case Details:

Challenge/Problem

The client in this case is an educational non-profit. Non-profits tend to have a difficult time gaining traction with Instagram content that is highly promotional and fact heavy. SO! In comes the favorites list to help foster community.

Social Media Goals

In this case study, we tracked the engagement rate and content interaction over the course of two months with a goal of a steady increase.

How we reached the goal/Strategy

First we utilized Instagram’s favorites list feature and selected 29/50 accounts to add to our favorites list. Then on Tuesdays and Wednesday’s every week, we interacted and nurtured those accounts in the hopes of building a support system in return to support our content and share opportunities. These accounts included local community organizations based near our non-profit, educators, and staff that work within the non-profit.

As a result, we will continue to cultivate our favorites list for this non-profit client. Not only did it increase engagement and content interactions but is also provided insight into what is going on in the community around our client.
